The commission is earned and City2Shore pays the agent their portion of the commission depending on the compensation plan they are on.
After paying the agent their portion of the commission, the broker portion is then split again - 70/30. The brokerage retains 70%, while the remaining 30% is designated to the REAP program, and paid out to the agents in the various REAP levels.
If you recruit a producing agent into C2S, that agent is now in Level 1 of your REAP tree. The average annual income earned from a capping Level 1 agent, is approximately $3,000.
If the agent you have recruited (your Level 1) goes out and recruits an agent of their own, this new agent is now in your Level 2, and is in your recruited agent's Level 1. If that agent recruits another agent, it's now your Level 3, and so on. Average annual income earned from Level 2 is approximately $400. It is beneficial to you to continue to recruit into your Level 1!
Of the 30% of the broker portion that is slated for the REAP program, each level earns you a different percentage.
Level 1 - 66% of designated REAP money - $3,035 average annual income
Level 2 - 9% of designated REAP money - $415 average annual income
Level 3 - 11.5% of designated REAP money - $525 average annual income
Level 4 - 13.5% of designated REAP money - $625 average annual income
Imagine for a minute, you have recruited 10 agents into your Level 1, all of which are capping agents (appx $2.5M producers in most markets).
And let's say that those 10 agents have each recruited 2 agents of their own. These 20 agents will be in your Level 2.
And those 20 agents have each recruited 1 other agent themselves. These next 20 agents will be in your Level 3.
Your income potential from these are:

20 L2 agents x $415 avg income = $8,300 Level 2 income

When you sponsor an agent into ANY C2S office across the country, and they close a transaction, you earn money. it is a set percentage of the revenue that their brokerage is SHARING with you.
Many brokerages have a profit share program. But that can be unpredictable and inconsistent. For example, if the brokerage needs to perform capital improvements to the building, their technology, or equipment; the bottom line for the office is affected, thus affecting your potential earned profit share.
With our revenue-sharing program, you will know exactly what you're getting as long as you know the dollar value of the deal closing, and the commission percentage being earned. The REAP split is performed simultaneously to the brokerage receiving their income. So instead of the brokerage paying a share of inconsistent monthly/yearly profits, you are receiving a share of revenue from each transaction, paid out immediately.
